Judy has spent half her life working as an actress, comedienne, television and radio broadcaster, writer, singer, drama workshop leader and conference speaker. Born and raised in New Brunswick, Judy has lived and worked all across Canada.
Trained as an actress at the Ryerson Theatre School in Toronto, Judy has appeared in numerous theatrical roles receiving rave reviews and a few marriage proposals. Being an actress made working on television an easy transition because actors are very versatile and have good memories until they reach a certain age and begin to lose nouns.
GET ME BACK TO THE GARDEN, I'M CHOKIN' ON THE WEEDS is a blend of stand up comedy, songs, and character sketches. Judy wrote the show and premiered it in 1998. Since then, she has performed it for thousands of people from Newfoundland to California, to rave reviews and standing ovations.
The show can be tailored to suit your needs and can be used as outreach ministry, fundraiser, Girls Only Night Out, dinner theatre, coffee/dessert cafe' and any other creative idea you might have.
