I am getting so excited about this year's Christmas show because I've been rehearsing with these marvelous and talented young people. People who have seen the show before are asking "Is Marko Simmonds back....Shannon Walsh.........JR Smith...........Jordan Stephens?" YES........Marko has a voice so big it could fill the port of Halifax.......he plays keyboard and has arranged the music for this show. Shannon Walsh is a recording artist with a voice and style that goes from soft and sweet.....pass me a kleenex........to go girl Rapper.......Yo! JR Smith is smokin on drums and Jordan Stephens gives the bass even more cool than it already has. Geordie Brown brings his beautiful voice to the show this year and ........he's only 17. Heather Jansma has that sublime Jazz sound and watch it when she lets loose! Andrew Sarty plays saxophone with soul.......deep down drag it out SOUL... Mike Veenema (he and I make up the "older" people)rocks on guitar and then there is Spencer Conway....11 years old and already a seasoned comic actor. He narrates the show..........and sings. I have a few funny characters for you and I'm singing a solo. Some people have called this show "the best Christmas show ever". We think so too. All proceeds go to ARK.........frontline on the street helping youth. We can all do more to help. Fundraisers won't do it. Safe affordable housing...........tell the politicians. GO TO http://www.arkoutreach.com Shows are Friday Nov. 28th and Sat Nov. 29th at All Nations Church Halifax (corner Robie and Charles)and Sunday Nov. 30th at Rock Church in Lwr. Sackville. Friday is Pay what you can night. Sat and Sun $10/$5 for children 11 and under. All shows are at 7:30. We will also have Shannon's CDs, My DVDs, Peter Bresnen's art calendars, Corey Garnier's children's books for sale with portion of sales to ARK. AND......We are hoping that again this year the ARK angels will have their gorgeous pottery bowls for sale. You can purchase tickets in advance for the Nov. 30th show at Rock Church in Lwr. Sackville .....just drop by the church and ask for tickets to the Christmas Show for ARK or Judy Savoy's Christmas show. OR Reserve your tickets for any of the shows by contacting me

Judy Savoy trained as an actress at the Ryerson Theatre School in Toronto but since work for actors is always a bit lean, she talked her way into doing the weather on television and then went on to do everything in tv and radio that you can do without getting arrested. Judy is also a speaker,writer,singer and workshop leader. She believes that what she is doing now.... is what she was born to do.... using all the gifts and talents bestowed on her by God. She also wants to help make poverty........history. Judy lives in Halifax.
